Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was quite comfortable and enjoyable. The room I was allocated was nicely done up and provided a nice view of the city, although they were already filled when we checked in. The location was convenient, right on AJC Bose Road, close to amenities. The dining experience was satisfactory, offering a decent variety of options. Overall, a great value for money stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers a mix of experiences with rooms that are a bit worn but some coming out really well. The service is top-notch, but at times can be disrupted by loud conversations in the lift lobby. Its central location is convenient for exploring, although some aspects need attention. The dining experience varies, from minimalistic to crowded breakfast scenes.
I stayed at the hotel and had a great experience overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet, offering a nice view of the city from the Imperial room on the 8th floor. The service, while somewhat lower than expected, was courteous and helpful. The location was excellent, right on AJC Bose Road in the heart of Kolkata, just moments away from Park Street. The dining experience was good, with a variety of options at Kalash restaurant, though the daily menu could use more variety. Overall, a pleasant stay at the hotel.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were comfortable but lacked ambiance, needing a refresh with new wallpaper and paint. The service was a bit hit or miss, with some excellent service but also a lack of friendliness and cooperation from some staff. The hotel's location was convenient, right in the heart of the city, but the overall value for money was questionable. The dining options were diverse and excellent, though slightly understaffed during peak times.
The hotel provided a mix of past glory and luxury in the large, comfortable, well-equipped, and clean rooms. However, some rooms were small and too old. The service was polite and cooperative, although at times staff were overly solicitous, which could be a bit annoying. The location, ideally situated in the heart of Kolkata City, was convenient for exploring prime locations like Park Street and Camac Street, but some amenities were unexpectedly unavailable during the stay. The dining experience offered a great variety of dishes, enhancing the stay, despite some limitations in the breakfast menu. Overall, the hotel exudes a sense of luxury from its amenities while offering different pricing strategies for additional services.
